Instagram may not need to be specifically introduced, but for strangers, it’s a free social networking app that allows users to take and share photos and videos.  Since then, Instagram has grown to more than 400 million users, making Instagram one of the leading social networks.

In order to remain popular, the company is constantly introducing new functions – but that can also make the growing list of features difficult to understand. No matter if you have been an Instagram user for years or if you are new to it, these tips and tricks will help you master Instagram in 2019.

FIRST STEPS

Create your Complete Instagram profile

Do you already have an account? Go ahead and skip this section. Otherwise we start with the basics. You also need to set a unique username or handle. This can be your real name, or something more creative. If you use Instagram for professional purposes, it is a good idea to use a username that relates to what you are doing or the subject of your account. When you are coming as a newbie on Instagram, you’ll need to buy Instagram Followers UK for your account to grow faster on Instagram.

Add a beautiful profile picture

You can easily add a profile picture to the Instagram app on your mobile device. Go to your profile by tapping on your profile picture at the bottom right, then on the empty circle with your name (your profile picture will go here).

Engaging Instagram Bio

In the Edit profile menu, you can specify how your name should be displayed (real or pseudonym), change your Instagram handle, link to an external website (only one is allowed) and add a bio. You can also list private information such as your phone number and gender, although it will not be shown to the public. The nice thing is that Instagram doesn’t require you to fill in any of these fields, nor does it require you to provide your full name if you don’t want to.

Find Friends to Follow

In the meantime, many of your friends are probably already using Instagram, so you can click on the Friends / Invite friends tab in your profile (go to your profile -> open the menu at the top right -> gear icon settings). Here you can search for friends who have connected their Facebook and Twitter accounts to Instagram. Following interesting people is a great way to get inspired, and it helps Instagram’s algorithms learn what you like and suggest photos and videos on the Discovery tab.

Post your First Photo or Video

To publish your first photo or video, just tap the camera icon in the middle of the app’s lower menu. You can then either take a photo, record a video, or choose one from your phone gallery. Once you’ve selected the photo you want, click Next. From there you can apply a filter or even edit the look of the photo manually. The app lets you crop, change exposure, increase saturation, increase sharpness, add a vignette, and more.

Here are our tips on how to create the best Instagram content.

If you click Next again, you’ll be prompted to add a label, tags (other Instagram users), location, and another social network (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr, or Swarm) by adding a link to Instagram- Want to post.

Splitting a video works similarly, but you can also choose the length of the clip (up to one minute) or assemble a montage from multiple videos. You can also turn off the sound if you don’t like the background noise in your video.

Post your Perfect Photos on Instagram

Instagram has a good selection of filters and editing tools to help you highlight your photos and take them to the next level

Think “out of the box”

For years you have only been able to upload square photos with Instagram. In August 2015, she finally lifted this restriction, which benefited photographers everywhere. Square is still the default, but you can now upload in landscape and portrait format, although there are still some aspect ratio restrictions.

To quickly select the original aspect ratio or the most acceptable ratio, simply tap the icon in the lower left corner of the photo.

It should be noted that portrait-oriented photos appear larger in the feed, since Instagram is a vertically oriented app. For this reason, you should use it more often than square or landscape and plan your recordings accordingly.

How to use Instagram tags?

Would you like to draw attention to your mother, boyfriend, dog, barista or anyone else who appears in your photo? Just tap people below the caption box on the last edit page before sharing your photo. Then tap the person or object in the picture you want to highlight and enter their name or Instagram username.

Did you forget to tag someone in a photo that you’ve already posted? Don’t worry, don’t worry. Simply tap the photo in your profile, tap the “…” button in the top right to bring up the menu, select Edit and then tap Mark people.

How to use mentions on Instagram?

To mention a friend in your caption, enter @ in front of his username Note: If you mention someone and they later change their Instagram handle, your mention will not be updated automatically and will no longer refer to their profile. However, tags are updated when a user changes their handle.

How to like and comment on posts?

Next to the heart symbol is a text bubble symbol with which you can make a comment. There is no limit to how much you can write, but for the sake of the Instagram community, we recommend keeping it short.

Use the arrow icon to the right of the comment button to send the photo or video to other users as a message. Tap it, choose who you want to send it to, and tap Send. The post is shared in a private message and is a great way to get someone’s attention to content that you think they like – just keep in mind that it’s a good way to upset people.

How to publish more than one photo at a time

In February 2017, Instagram introduced the ability to publish more than one photo at a time. Now you can publish up to 10 photos in one album at a time. Albums appear as a single post in the feed, but your followers can swipe to see all of the photos.
